Base10 suspects that the Base10 Cousin has been lurking in the comments section recently asking for a plug for FSU football. Since the "big game" involving the Base10 Cousin's alma mater and her hubby's school Maryland is coming up at the end of the month and Base10 is certainly willing to compromise his journalistic integrity to cop an invite to DC for the weekend, here's a moment of shameless praise for FSU:
Bobby Bowden's Florida State football team is almost certain to score a major bowl game this season. The 'Noles are undefeated after 4 games including victories against Miami and BC and they sit atop their ACC division. They will almost certainly destroy the Maryland Terrapins when they play them on October 29th in revenge for the Terrapins stunning victory over FSU last season. It's obvious the Terps must have spiked their water or something last year. No matter. On to victory! Who names a football team after a turtle anyway?
You are invited only if you root for FSU- unlike last year when you rooted for FSU until they started losing. Looking forward to seeing Base10 and Base10's lovely wife at the end of the month for the big game. Come hungry- lots of food and beer.
