Is This Good News or Bad?
Various media sources are reporting that the Jets have named Vinny Testaverde as the starter for this Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccs.

While Base10 strongly disagrees with this decision, he will, of course, root for Vinny come Sunday. In any event, it seems likely that Bollinger will see some more action before the end of the year. Interestingly, the Trenton Times is reporting that Jay Fiedler might be back in four to eight weeks which at best would let him play after the buy week against San Diego on Nov 6 or at worst play against New England on Dec 4. If Testaverde can keep the team competitive until then and Fiedler can return healthy, the season just might not be over after all. But don't hold your breath for a playoff birth.
