Bush Condemns Actor Donald Sutherland
In a bizarre press conference, the President condemned actor Donald Sutherland.
"He just can't act. His performances are shallow, his characterizations are weak. I cannot understand why movie and television executives keep using this hack in important roles."
When questioned by reporters on his lack of acting credentials, Bush replied angrily,
"I know I didn't go to acting school. Why does that disqualify me from commenting on Sutherland's performances? It's censorship, I say! Nobody's telling Sutherland to stay out of politics."
Screen Actors Guild President Alan Rosenberg responded angrily,
"This kind of petty criticism of members of my profession by elected officials should not be taking place. What does Bush know about method acting? When was the last time he studied Stanislavski?"
