Base10's Football Picks
Base10 had a pretty good week this past week and has actually achieved moderate success. Base10 was 10 of 14 bringing his total for the year to 24 of 45 (one push) (53.33% success). As always, responsibility for losses accrue to Base10. Winners are the responsibility of the Base10 Buddy. Here are this week's picks:

Giants (-3) In this bizzarro NFL world, the Giants are the highest scoring team so far this year.

Jets (+7) I know, I know. What can I say?

Chargers (+5.5) While the Pats have won some squeakers, the Chargers have been showing some power--take the points.

Broncos (+4) Tough game to pick, but since you have to take one, take the points.

Bengals (-9.5) This is another game I hate. I don't like giving this many points, but the bizzarro Bengals are the second highest scoring team in the NFL.

Titans (+7) The Colts have not been the offensive powerhouse that they were last year. Compare this to the aggressive Titan defense and I say take the points with the Titans at home.

Chiefs (-2) It's hard not to take the Chiefs at home laying only 2 against a banged-up Donovan McNabb.

Buccs (-6.5) It's hard not to take the Buccs at home who are doing so well against the Lions when they are laying less than a touchdown.

Bills (PK) Quick pick a team without thinking: the Bills or the Saints. I thought so.

Seahawks (+2) Washington is 2-0 but have only scored 23 points so far. They are not 1-1 because of two plays involving Santana Moss against the Cowboys. Take the 'Hawks.

Vikings (+6) Both the Vikes and Atlanta put up similar numbers. I say take the points.

Raiders (-3) The Raiders are winless in spite of some solid offense. Take them at home laying only a field goal.

Cards (-2.5) This is the Mexico City game. I don't know. Maybe the hot-weather team will do better south of the border.

Packers (+7.5) Oh the poor winless Pack! I don't see why since Carolina is laying so many points since they are also 0-3. Take the poiints and the hook.

Good luck sports fans!
